Privacy policy

In short

This website uses Google Ads measurement to find out whether our ads lead to visits and bookings. For this, every page loads the Google tag from Google's servers. As long as you have not clicked "Accept" in the banner, no cookies are set and Google receives only signals without cookies. Cookies, the storage of an ad click ID and the sending of measurement events happen only after you accept. Fonts are served from our own server, not from a font network. The details are set out below.

Server log files

Our hosting provider automatically records information that your browser transmits when you request a page. This includes:

  • the IP address of the requesting device,
  • date and time of the request,
  • the page requested and the amount of data transferred,
  • the referring page, if any,
  • browser and operating system version.

These records are technically necessary to deliver the site and to detect and defend against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the site securely and without interruption (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). They are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for those purposes, are not merged with other data sources, and are not used to identify you.

Hosting

The website runs on a virtual server we operate ourselves. The underlying infrastructure is provided by Apex Strata Ltd (trading as LNVPS), a company registered in Ireland, acting as our processor under Art. 28 GDPR. The server is located in Dublin, Ireland — delivering these pages therefore involves no transfer of personal data to a country outside the European Union.

The server delivers static files only. It runs no database, no application code and no third-party scripts, which is why no processing beyond the log entries described above takes place there.

Fonts

All typefaces are stored on our own server and delivered with the page. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any comparable service, and no data about you reaches such a provider.

Google Ads measurement and consent

We advertise this website with Google Ads and measure whether these ads lead to visits and bookings. For this, every page loads the Google tag (gtag.js) from www.googletagmanager.com. The recipient is Google Ireland Limited, Ireland. Google LLC in the United States may also be involved; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Before and without your consent. The Google tag is loaded on every page view, including before you have made a choice in the banner and after you have declined. It starts with all four consent signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage) set to "denied". In this state no cookie is written. Google receives signals without cookies that contain the page viewed and the consent state; with every such request your browser's IP address technically reaches Google.

The banner. A banner offers "Accept" and "Decline". Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage) under the name psc_consent, with the value "accepted" or "rejected", so that the banner is not shown again.

Only after you click "Accept":

  • the four consent signals are set to "granted", and Google Ads may set cookies in your browser,
  • if you reached this website through one of our ads, the Google click ID contained in the link (URL parameter gclid, gbraid or wbraid) is stored in your browser's local storage under the name psc_gclid,
  • two measurement events are sent to Google Ads: a click on a link to book a call via Cal.com, and scrolling through 75 % of one of our service pages,
  • links to Cal.com carry two additional parameters (see "Booking a call" below).

If you click "Decline", a stored click ID is deleted.

We do not use Google Analytics. There is no measurement on this website beyond the Google Ads measurement described here.

The legal basis for storing information on your device and reading it from there, and for the measurement after you click "Accept", is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; for storage on and access to your device, § 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act, TDDDG). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. To withdraw, click "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page and choose "Decline" in the banner that opens. Alternatively, you can delete the data this website has stored in your browser (in your browser's settings for this site), or write to office@primesoftware.company.

Contacting us by email

If you write to us, we process the address you write from and the content of your message in order to answer it. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your message concerns a contract or its initiation, otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep such correspondence for as long as needed to handle the matter and to meet statutory retention obligations, then delete it.

Booking a call

To arrange calls we link to Cal.com. Visiting this website transmits nothing to that provider — the link is an ordinary hyperlink, not an embedded widget. Only when you click it do you leave our site, at which point Cal.com's own privacy terms apply. If you then book a slot, that provider processes the details you enter (name, email address, chosen time and any message). Where we receive that booking, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, since the processing serves the initiation of a contract.

If you have clicked "Accept" in the banner, the links to Cal.com carry two additional URL parameters: ads_consent=granted and, if a Google click ID is stored, that click ID. Cal.com receives both when you follow the link. Without your consent the links carry neither.

If a booking reaches us with this consent marker, we transmit it to Google Ads as a conversion: the click ID, if one was passed on, and the email address given in the booking as a SHA-256 hash value, not in plain text ("enhanced conversions"). Bookings without the consent marker are not transmitted to Google. The legal basis for this transmission is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw as described above.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • obtain confirmation whether we process data about you, and access to that data (Art. 15),
  • have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16),
  • have data erased (Art. 17),
  • have processing restricted (Art. 18),
  • receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20),
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21),
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77).

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the site changes technically — for example when a booking tool or analytics is added. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
